The Ulukartal Family has been active in the Turkish Food industry for more than 70 years. With this wealth of experience, Verde A.S. today becomes one of the leading establishments in the Turkish food industry. Verde A.S. continues this tradition of fine quality, tasteful Mediterranean products produced by the Ulukartal Family. With continual attention to the imporrtance of hygiene, quality and health, the local market and abroad. Production of Verde olive oils takes place at the company' s facilities ın Ayvalik and İzmir, where the Ayvalik disrict, the region which produces the highest quality olives grown in Turkey. Within 24 hours of harvesting , the olives are pressed at the two factory locations using the Pieralisi cold press method. Each day, approximately 120 tons of olives are pressed at the two production plants, resulting in a yield of 25 tons of olive oil.

This big quality Verde olive oil is then available to bottle for local and foreign markets. Verde A.S. has total storage capacity of 4000 tons olive oil in stable, underground airconditioned storage tanks - 1400 tons in Izmir and 400 tons in Ayvalik. These stainless steel, cromium nickel storage tanks were specially produced for Verde A.S. The production and bottling lines as well as the storage tanks are nitrorogen flushed to remove oxygen from exposure to the oil. The results retain their aroma, taste and healthful properties until the day that bottles or containers are opened consumption.

Verde A.S. has the honor of being the first and only Turkish olive oil producer to export its own olive oil products to the U.S., Argentina, and Australia under its own trademark.
